Refund & Cancellation Policy

MRM Foundation is a charitable trust committed to education, skill development, scholarships, and welfare activities for underprivileged sections of society. Most of our programs, including internship registrations and skill path initiatives, are currently provided **free of charge** (₹0 fee). This policy applies to any voluntary donations received and to any future nominal program/service fees that may be introduced for sustainability.

1. Donations

All monetary contributions made to MRM Foundation are treated as **voluntary charitable donations** intended to support our educational and social welfare objectives.

Exceptions may be considered **only** in the following limited cases:

• Technical error where payment was deducted but no receipt/confirmation was issued by our system or Razorpay
• Duplicate / erroneous transaction (e.g., accidental double payment from the same donor)
• Any other situation explicitly approved by the Trust management after due verification

2. Program Registrations & Nominal Fees (If Applicable)

Currently, internship registrations and most programs are free. Should we introduce any paid workshops, certifications, training modules or other services in future:

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email to the official contact) at least 7 days before the program commencement date (or within any shorter window clearly stated at the time of registration).
• Approved cancellations may be eligible for full or partial refund, less any non-refundable administrative/processing charges (if mentioned during registration).
• No refunds will be issued after the program has started, except in cases of cancellation by MRM Foundation or force majeure events.

3. Razorpay Refund Process

All online payments and donations are processed through Razorpay (Razorpay Payments Private Limited – RBI authorised Payment Aggregator).

• Refunds, when approved by MRM Foundation, are initiated only by us (not directly by the donor/user) through the Razorpay dashboard or API.
• Refunds are always processed to the **original payment method** used (UPI, card, netbanking, wallet, etc.).
• Standard processing time: **5–7 working days** after initiation (bank/card issuer dependent). Instant refunds are possible in select failed transaction cases.
• Razorpay does not charge any additional fee for refunds; however, the original transaction fee and GST paid are **not reversed**.
• Once a refund is processed and credited, it is final and irreversible.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email us at info@mrmfoundation.co.in or foundationmrm@gmail.com with the following details:

• Full name of donor/registrant
• Transaction ID / Razorpay Payment ID
• Date and amount of payment
• Mode of payment (UPI/card/etc.)
• Reason for refund request (with supporting proof if applicable)

We will review requests within **3–5 working days** and respond accordingly. Only eligible cases will be processed.

5. Failed or Pending Transactions

If your payment shows as “pending” or “failed” but the amount was deducted from your account:

• Contact us immediately with transaction proof (screenshot / bank statement)
• Most such cases are automatically reversed by Razorpay/banks within 2–7 working days
• If not reversed automatically, we will coordinate with Razorpay for resolution

6. Limitation of Liability

MRM Foundation is not responsible for delays in refund crediting caused by banks, card issuers, NPCI, UPI providers, or Razorpay. No interest or compensation will be paid for any delay.

7. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the effective date. Your continued use of our services or making of donations after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
