Bachelor in Library & Information Science (BLIS)
- Objective: To train and demonstrate students with various elements in knowledge management. The course will demonstrate application of new technologies IT services in management of modern libraries. It will also familiarise the students with recent development of best practices in Library Management.
- Eligibility: A candidate seeking admission must be a graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce (with minimum 45% marks) or equivalent (Alim) from recognised Madrasa/Board.
- Duration:One year
- Course Structure:There shall be total eight papers of 100 Marks each out of which five shall be theory paper (written examination) which shall consist of two parts. (a) Written Examination carrying 80Marks and (b) Evaluation of Internal Assignment carrying 20 Marks. Two practical papers and one Project Work having viva-voce Examination carrying 100 Marks each. The University Reserves the right to annucsed or change the examination patern or syllabus.
